Diesel’s Fly Fishing focuses on wading trips using a fly rod and artificial flies.  You are welcome to bring your own equipment, or it can be provided for you at no additional charge.  Our goal is to teach others proper technique for catching trout within any of the White River System streams.  Your trip will help to instruct you in presentation and stealth to increase the number of fish caught.

Missouri regulations for Lake Taneycomo state that Rainbow Trout between 12 and 20 inches and Brown Trout less than 20 inches must be released unharmed.  The creel limit is four trout per day, of which no more than one may be a Brown Trout.  Diesel’s Fly Fishing requires that all trout over 20 inches be released unharmed.  For taxidermy purposes, measurements and pictures can be taken for creation of a fiberglass replica.

Trips can be booked for half-day or full-day outings.  All Full-day trips include lunch.  Half day outings are generally 4 hours of fishing, and full day trips last between 7 and 8 hours.
